Ben Crossman, web designer & front-end developer

I've been designing and making websites for over 10 years, for various clients ranging from museums to scientific start-ups. I have particular knowledge and expertise in web accessibility, and I have a keen interest in developing bespoke WordPress themes aimed at minimising exclusion. Part of my work is focused around testing existing sites against WCAG 2.1 criteria, and developing solutions to ensure their websites comply with the legislation. Currently I work remotely as a freelance developer and designer in Cheshire.

This website was built in 2013, and I know it's kind of ugly,
but if you refresh the page you get a new background every time, which is nice.
